We are so proud of little Summer. BOB and Best Puppy at SWKA Open Show at just over 7 months. Then after a very long day she went Toy Group 4 and Puppy Toy Group 3, still giving 100% and enjoying every minute. Thank you to judges Irene Robb (breed) and Glenn Robb (Groups) and also to Elaine Williams for staying to support us in the groups.
I must also give Chrissie and David a mention as they too won their class so a good day for both girls.

I came home from our committee meeting this evening to discover that I have had an email from the RKC (on a Sunday!!) to say that Chrissie is now Charnell Songbird J.W. The certificate may still take a while to come as they are clearing the backlog.

We had a fabulous day at the Southern CKCSC Ch. Show today. Never in all the years that I have been showing dogs have I come home with such a haul of goodies! Summer and Chrissie both won their classes and to our delight Summer went on to be Best Puppy in Show.

Summer has finished her puppy career now but is still Top Cavalier Puppy at the halfway mark! We may not stay there as there are some super puppies around, but we can be proud while it lasts!

On our way home from a lovely day at the Scottish Cavalier Club Ch Show in Lanark. Both girls won their classes and Summer went on to take her third Res CC. Sincere thanks to judge Alison Walker. We had no idea whether she would like her or not! It was really good to see Diana Maclaine sitting ringside and also to see so many of our Northern and Scottish friends, plus a few from down South as well! Just a lovely friendly show! Congratulations to all the winners and big thanks to emergency handler Andy Vella. I couldn’t have managed withou you!

Home after a fabulous day at South & West Wales Ch Show where Summer won her first CC and then went on to win Best in Show! To say we are thrilled is an understatement! Sincere thanks to our judges Wendy Waters, and referee Stephen R Goodwin. Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the other winners today and to everyone for their good wishes and congratulations. It meant so much to us.

An enjoyable day spent with friends at Forest Oak Farm, Lydney, for the South Wales Toy Dog Open Show. Friendly well run show at this super venue. A wonderful but exhausting day at the Eastern Cavalier Club where Charnell Here Comes Summer won her second CC under breed specialist Caroline Gibson. We can’t thank everyone enough for their congratulations and good wishes and of course to Caroline for thinking so highly of her. It was so lovely to see so many of our friends doing well too.Huge congratulations to Kirstie McMurray on gaining her JW with Sheeran, Elaine Berwick for Best Veteran under Anita, Team Pascavale on their new champion Pascavale Chanice, and Dave and Andy Sedgbeer on their Res CC with Olivia Rose. Last but not least Team Ellemich for their 2nd CC with Neo and a 38th CC for Dublin

Proud Mum and Dad moment! A double show day! Summer was awarded the Res CC at the Cavalier Club Show in a lovely entry. Sincere thanks to judge James Finlay-Kirkwood and congratulations to all the other winners!At the Birmingham National she gained a very respectable 2nd placing to Tina Homes Ch. Leogem Campanula who. Was awarded the CC by judge Evan L Ryan. Once again well done to all the winners.
I never think to take photos when we’ve had a good win but thankfully Becky Wileman was on hand to provide a memento of a lovely day!

How can I thank Laura Davies for the most beautiful photo I have of Cisco (Charnell The Renegade JW) taken at Three Counties yesterday where he was placed 2nd in Junior Dog, behind the RCC winner and 2nd in Junior Dog Stakes earning himself £15 pocket money.
